What to expect during a consultation with Fiona Coffee Trichology
Consultation
Before your appointment, you will receive a detailed consultation form via email. This is to be completed and returned 48 hours prior to your consultation appointment. Your private one to one consultation will take place in my home studio, where I follow a strict confidential and ethical trichology practice. You can expect a supportive, professional and science led approach, where your concerns will be listened to and understood.
During your 1 hour 15 minute consultation, we will assess several key areas that may be contributing to your hair loss or scalp concerns taking a holistic approach. Using a trichoscope, I will examine your scalp and hair allowing me to assess the condition of your scalp, identify patterns of hair loss, and detect any signs of underlying hair or scalp disorders.
Diagnosis and treatment options
Once your consultation and scalp assessment are complete, we will discuss the possible causes of your hair or scalp concerns and explore the most suitable treatment options for you. Further tests or referrals may be required.
My aim is to provide you with knowledge, options and empowerment, helping you to understand your condition and the steps available to improve it.
You will receive a detailed trichology report, including all of the information we discussed during your appointment.

Treatment Plan with Progress tracking
Your personalised treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs, which may include lifestyle adjustments, treatments, wig consultation, product suggestions, and practical advice to support your hair and scalp health.
Tracking progress is extremely important, as it helps us to understand what is working best for you. Progress is monitored over time through, follow up appointments, scalp imaging, and symptom tracking.
Continuing support
